In order for a MINDBODY client account to function through our API integration it must contain the following information to be considered a complete client account:
- Email Address
- All required Client Fields are filled out
- Client ID
If a MINDBODY account missing any of the above information, it's considered incomplete and will not function through the website integration.
Whats a Client ID?
A client ID is a numerical indicator is used for the MINDBODY API integration. The client ID should only contain numerical variables (1 to 10). If the Client ID contains a special character ( %, $, @) or letters (A - Z), their account will experience functionality issues. A client ID can be assigned under their profile in Mindbody Business Mode. If you click “Assign”, it will automatically generate a proper ID. Here is an example:
When a user attempts to create an account through the website, we check for duplicate accounts based on the email address of a complete MINDBODY Client account. If the system finds a complete using that email address already, the account will not be created. If the system does not recognize an existing complete account, an account will be created.
If clients are making accounts outside your LiveEdit website or you are making them in studio, please make sure they are complete accounts.

Are clients able to look up incomplete accounts through the integration and complete them?
In MINDBODY Consumer Mode, there is a feature for clients to look up their incomplete accounts to make them complete. Currently, this feature is not supported in MINDBODY's API for any partners or mobile applications to utilize. We have requested this functionality with MINDBODY's development team and will add it once the function is released to the MINDBODY API. In the meantime, clients will have to complete their accounts through MINDBODY Consumer Mode if they have an incomplete account.
